Turkey cooked in crock pot.

Anyone ever try this? I'm thinking about doing my turkey breast in my slow cooker today or tomorrow. A friend is bringing us a care package Thanksgiving dinner today so t don't need any extra food until tomorrow. I read that you can brown the turkey I under the broiler to brown after it's done.
