Thanks everyone for your input. Curious thing.🤷‍♀️ Never know what will be missing when I go shopping. Thankful for what I can find. Went for rice-a-roni and that was gone. Decided to make my own.😉

@sunshine45 I'm not sure if I have had Italian tuna. Could you share how it's different?

I went shopping on Monday to Walmart. There were tons of canned tuna for sale. No problems here, in Vegas.

Yes tuna has been sold out several times over the last couple of months in our stores. Especially the pouch packages of it.

Renata - maybe your timing to buy tuna was off.

Yesterday we went to Costco for hamburger for the dog. They had none. In fact my husband said the meat section had no meat. Today he stopped by Costco just to see if they had any hamburger. He said they had many packages.

And it also happened to us at Sam's. My son likes YooHoo. Last time we went - none. So my husband just went to Sam's. He said they had tons of YooHoo.

And when you watch people leaving the store sometimes you are amazed that the store still has certain items. I saw a man at Costco return an entire flatbed cart filled with cases of Hellman's Mayonnaise. It had to be close to an entire skid of Hellman's.

And I saw one lady at Sam's, her entire cart was filled past the top with SlimFast. I am sure she took every bottle.

You can look on line and see what the stock is for your tuna at each Sam's Club. We checked on line for the Yoohoo before my husband drove to Sam's today.

When staying in first started I had trouble finding the lowest priced one at Wal-mart , but not lately . I always keep a stash of tuna.

I like to share a can with my cats (separate dishes of course Smiley Happy ) DH doesn't like it plain. I like a meal of a hard boiled egg , sweet gherkins , a sprinkle of onion powder , & dollop of mayo . --a lazy tuna salad.

@Renata22

Tuna .... No problem at all at my local supermarket.  I use lots of canned tuna, sardines and canned salmon ... always able to find it.  I keep a lot on hand.

I went shopping yesterday .....  things I found that they were out of / low on were:

Goya and Campbell canned foods.  Soup shelf was almost empty.

Coffee-Mate flavors

Jar of olive spread - none at all

I mentioned the canned goods to one of the managers ... he said he was expecting delivery today.

My thinking is that with restaurants closed so many people eating all their meals at home, shelves are emptying quicker.  My supermarket is just down the block - so it's not a big deal if I have to make another stop in a few days.
