@shoesnbags   No lines for us and we don't go during the "senior hour".  We go on Thursdays around 9:30 am.  Obviously, it depends on where you live and probably what other stores are around.  And we were able to bring our own bags and bag the items in the store ourselves.  Yeah!!!

You're lucky, @kaydee50 .  I've tried different times of day and there's always a long line outside.

I have a list.  I plan to go on Wed Senior Hours.  Trader Joe's and Costco are the only two stores I am comfortable shopping in these days.

I went to Trader Joe's this morning. I got there at 7:35, I was not near first on line, the line behind me was so long, it snaked around the corner. Since I will be alone for Thanksgiving, I bought a half turkey breast that is already cooked, you just heat it. I also bought cauliflower stuffing, with a baked potato I'll be good. If you like the seasonal holiday items, they had them in now, you don't want to wait too long because when they're gone they're gone.

We have 3 Trader Joe's within an easy drive of our house, but I don't go there very often, mainly because they're all in shopping centers whose parking lots are comparable  to demolition derbies. On those rare occasions when I got there, I make a bee line for the candy. Their 1 pound chocolate bars are sooo good and their chocolate covered caramels are my downfall. Once I've had my chocolate fix, I can look at the other aisles. They have a lot of neat items throughout the store, but especially in the frozen foods section. Their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever I ask them about something, not only do they know the answer, but they'll take me to the aisle where it's located. TJ's is definitely worth checking out, even if you don't use it as your main grocery store.

So true!!!   I luv Trader Joe's!!!!!

@Eileen in Virginia

I laughed when I read your description of parking lots.  I only go early on weekdays.  Its a puzzle to navigate.

I love Trader Joe's. They have so many unique products you don't find elsewhere.

They are doing a great job limiting the number of customers in the store, the last time

I went I think they allowed 46 or 48. I usually go after 7:30 pm and some time there is a line, some time there isn't. The last time I walked right in, timing is everything. That being said, there will probably be long lines this week because of Thanksgiving. I'll wait until the following week to make my next trip. Fortunately I am well stock on vanilla merinques, for now.

There are always lines at the Trader Joe's by me.
