I've shopped at WF's for ten years now and I love it, But, Trader Joe's is less expensive and have more cool stuff..I pick trader Joe's as well! The people that work there are so nice too! Whole Food's prices are just outrageous, can't do it anymore!

WF is hard to get to where I am, but I have been a couple of times. You're right, they are expensive, and those here are so big it's tough trying to look at everything.
TJoe's is more compact and definitely less expensive. Recently, my daughter picked up a bag of kale, cleaned and cut into bite size pieces, costing less than she'd found whole kale elsewhere.
IMO the best thing about TJoe's is that it's FUN. Even the food is FUN

I tried the pumpkin rolls-- pretty good but the icing is VERY sweet. Also, the stuff swirled in them isn't cinnamon, not sure what it is. I would like them better if it were the pumpkin dough with cinnamon and other pumpkin spice swirl, kinda like regular cinnamon rolls, and regular white icing (which is sugary enough. the pumpkin icing was sweeter than the white! my dentist would scream.).
Also, for people who like pumpkin pancake and waffle mixes, may I recommend trying Dancing Deer pumpkin spice waffle and pancake mix. It's WAY better than the TJ's kind (which I don't think is very good. I am obsessed w/ pumpkin things and love many of their other seasonal products-- especially pumpkin butter!-- but I threw out a box of the pancake mix after trying it twice and being very disappointed). I find the Dancing Deer version at Whole Foods and it's expensive ($6+ "on sale" at WF. last year the same price was the regular price) but in my mind it's worth it. I mean, I think all pancake mixes are overpriced and usually just make them with ingredients I've got at home but I love the DD pumpkin spice.

I just went over the new Fall newsletter, and here are three new things I'd like to try:
Pumpkin Cream Cheese
Pumpkin Joe Joe's (cookies like Oreos only better, imo)
Pumpkin Body Butter (whipped, apparently)

I'm not a coffee drinker, but it's also delicious with tea. I hope to get back there before they stop carrying them so that I can grab another one for the freezer.
I asked them how many times per year they carry the kringle, and they said only at Halloween and Christmas. I got one last year during the holidays and it was delicious as well. I believe it was almond flavored.
When I got to the checkout counter, I saw the display of dark chocolate pumpkin spiced salted caramels. I picked up a box and they are fantastic. They're not chewy; rather, the caramel is more liquidy. Very, very good, but I have to stop myself at two or else I'll eat the entire box. I definitely have to stock up on those, so this week I'm going to pick up a few more boxes.
Thanks for all your recommendations!
I was going to pass on the Kringle until the holidays. But...I can freeze and dough it out. Lol Genius! This list is getting longer and longer you evil enablers. Pumpkin caramels. I'm also getting the Brussel Sprout stalk. That evens everything out.
