@Kachina624

I couldn't afford to buy THIS house at today's prices.  And now, real estate companies are buying up everything, GUTTING THEM DOWN TO THE FRAME, and rebuilding  them as "rentals".

They are going like hotcakes, too.     These are 2bd 2ba 1,000 sq ft.     You better really LOVE your mate to exist in something this small (!!!)

I really miss Los Angeles weather, but I am REALISTIC.    di

107 expected here in Palm Springs area today.  I can't even get medications, vitamins, lotions, spray cans, and certainly any food items delivered here.  It used to be in the 80's this time of the year, not really over 100 until mid-April, but this year has been brutal.  Had my AC on since the end of February and most likely will stay on until around Thanksgiving. Whew!

@cowtownlady - Sorry for your misfortune! I was also glad I skipped the Lindt truffles, but at least I can get them around here; I'm really bummed about not sneaking in another shipment of Enstrom petites this spring. We're supposed to be in the mid-50s and have been in the low 80s instead—not as hot as you are, but much too warm for March. I wish the temps would swing back down, but it isn't looking promising.

We have auto ship on the No Sugar Cups on HSN.  Last year we had one package that sat out on the porch too long.  We didn't open them until the had been in the house and had time to firm up.  They were all kinds of odd shapes but we still at them. We didn't care what they looked like and they're too expensive to pitch.

I learned my lesson, though.  I've sped up the shipping schedule in order to stock up.  Once the May shipment arrives I'll reset the schedule to October.
