Am surprised. The last few cooking shows I saw of him , he acted a bite bored  and peeved when pushing his cookware. That  Tall Chef  Curtis Stone  who has been on the Cooking Channel & Iron Chef  comes across like he enjoys  cooking and  seemed interested  in being on HSN.

@skatting44 :  I have an Okinawan friend who is married to a former Marine.  She is probably the best cook I know and she learned by watching Curtis Stone cook on t.v.

I am glad he is returning to HSN! I have watched him for many years, and still have a few pieces of his green pans. It was nice to see his personality shine through on ShopHQ, but I think he will be a good addition to the HSN family of chefs.

Todd English, the guy who gave us the discoloring, sticking, worst cookware in the world, Greenpan. Only now he's calling his miracle coating Lava. To say "pass" is a major understatement. It was a happy day when I got my Curtis Stone pans* and tossed Todd's garbage.

*Stovetop, not bakeware, which has mixed reviews, even among diehard fans.

Years ago I bought a set of Todd English Hard Anodized cookware.

Had them for years without using them. Was about to give them away and I´m so glad I didn´t. Wish he would bring them back.

Years ago Todd English sold sets of cookware on HSN that was hard anodized. They were rounded or bell shaped looking pots. I bought two sets to get the different pieces I wanted, and they have been the most wonderful cookware I have ever bought. This was before he went in with Joy Mangano and brought out Greenpans. Those were trash. If he returned to the quality of those first pans, he would have great sucess.
