Ooh, I love fried green tomatoes too. Also loved the movie and got to actually visit the sites where they filmed AND the Whistle Stop Café, for lunch.

I like biscuits and gravy and chicken-fried steak.

I agree with you but I am partial to fried green tomatoes, cornbread, of course buttermilk battered fried chicken, a pan of mustard greens, and my grandmother's made from scratch chocolate pies with a big glass of iced tea.......yum yum!!!

Fried okra, cornbread crumbled on top of turnip, or collard greens to soak up the pot liquor in the bottom of the bowl. Fried catfish, sweet potatoes, and boiled peanuts pretty much make me happy too.
