I love your state, and have always enjoyed the time we spend there. We have family in the Bay Area and love traveling around with them and tasting the food and wines up in wine country. What cracks us up though is all the commercials in our area telling us to buy California dairy products. We live minutes away from the Illinois/Wisconsin state line and are surrounded by dairy farms and have cheeses galore. Maybe the California Dairy Council could spend their advertising dollars in another part of the country more wisely. First there were the "happy cows live in California" commercials, then the percentage of CA dairy farms that were "family owned" commercials with maw and paw getting up early to milk the cows, and now there is a new one. We just laugh and enjoy our local products. We'll be out to see you again though.
