I purchased the Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer and used it for the first time yesterday. I only buy turkey breasts and this one was 6 pounds. I followed the instructions exactly and all in all it went well. My only complaint/problem was that the thickest/widest spot of the turkey breast was pink, real pink. According to the instructions suggestions it said if it was pink it's because it was defrosted long enough or at room temperature long enough. However, my turkey breast was bought fresh, never frozen and I really believe I allowed more than enough time to bring to room temperature. I even cooked it a little longer but I found that the outside was frying too much and the inside wasn't cooked enough. I did fry it at 375 degrees like it said to but I'm wondering if I should cook is lower and slower?

P.S. I did cut off meat so we could eat and left the really pink part still on the turkey and later put the turkey back into the fryer but that still didn't get rid of the pink. Not much at all.
