I have purchased every piece of the cardinal pattern that has been offered (except those salt and pepper shakers, those eyes scare me!!), because I really like it. I feel like it can come out the day after Thanksgiving and remain out all winter long. I like that it is more "seasonal" than "holiday".
I have also purchased the two new holly pieces this year, because I think they are a perfect compliment to the cardinal pieces. I like when Tara and Q continue a pattern or color, rather that what they have done in the past with just a few pieces of a holiday/winter pattern, then abandon it for a new one the following year. If they would offer one or two new pieces/sets each year in these patterns, we could build a nice collection.
While it was not to my taste, lots of folks loved the snow flake design that was out the last two years, and now that seems to have faded into the past as well. I'm not a fan of the angels either, but for those who are, I'm glad to see she has offered so many pieces, and hope she keeps that up.
I think poinsettia is here to stay, and I like it well enough, just don't have much. I'd like to stay with one thing, the cardinals, and not have a mismatched bunch of stuff.
What is everyone else's favorite holiday pattern, why, and do you get frustrated when they stop making it?
