nothing wrong with being curious.

She might just be taking a vacation.

When your used to seeing your regular check out clerk at the store then weeks go by most of us would say what happened to so and so is she still working. I don't see anything wrong in being friendly.

They seem to be introducing some younger reps as the originals get older.  Those people are not superhuman - they get older and want less hectic schedules. Laura, for instance, commutes from FL and that has to be tiresome after all these years. I think it's a good idea to introduce their replacements well ahead of time, like Jeannie did with QF.  When they finally do leave it will be less of a disruption for the viewer.

I think the new Kitchen Aid girl is remarkably good for a newbie.  I enjoy her presentations very much.

For the oldies...remember that Nesco lady? She knew everything about those cookers and probably sold a million of them for the channel.

The only kitchen shows I watched were with her on.  She is the only QVC person that actually teaches you something about cooking.  Otherwise, it's Romper Room with little of value about food or cooking.

Re: The QVC Kitchen Aid Lady

It was announced in December or January that a new woman was joining the staff of kitchen aid reps on QVC. They introduced her and have had her on a few times. She did a few more presentations of the Kitchen Aid food processor lately, and a couple demo-ing the attachments to go on the KA mixers. They have not said that Laura Weathers is gone, or that she is retired. Perhaps she has taken vacation and is gone for a bit. They would say if she was going to be gone for good. This new gal is to be PART of the Kitchen Aid team, not a replacement. I read her blog on here on QVC back when she was introduced.
