It's supposed to be at least 80 degrees where I am, up to the 90s in nearby areas

I will be going through recipes again, looking for something to make without using the oven.

THANK YOU to @mtc and others who turned me on to the joy of the Air Fryer, the Mini Cooker and the Pressure Cooker, all of which will offer me the luxury of cooked food without heating up my kitchen.

Oh, boy. @Noel7, you are sweltering for spring & today I'm shoveling 5" of snow....poor Mother Nature is so out of wack.  🙁

I thought we finally reached Spring; however, today we've been hit with continuous snow and sleet.  Ugh.  Just when you least expect it.

@Karnerblue  Hi!  Hope you are well.  I'm just about to go out & shovel.....I'm just so over winter & this year was not 1/4 as bad as last year. 😜

5" of snow   omg, Mother Nature really is out of wack. 

Last year was unbelievable for us, we had months and months of hot weather in San Francisco and that has never happened before, not in my lifetime.  I'm trying to prepare, now.

We used to get 1 to 3 days of heat, my mother's go-to hot weather dinner became mine: a shrimp Louie.  DH doesn't like shrimp so his comes with chicken

@3cupcakes Hi!  I am somewhat well, other than some eye infection I can't seem to get rid of (along with the other life drudgeries we all encounter).  I just hate dealing with snow.  And on the way to work my warning light came on that one of my tires was low on air.

Gosh, I remember the news reports of your last years weather & that kind of non-stop heat is really yucky.  At least here, at some point, the snow will stop this month....or so we hope!  LOL.  

But you are wise to prepare for another go around, just like that old saying "prepare for the worst & hope for the best".

now, you must tell me, what is a shrimp Louie?

Noel7, thank you for mentioning the Air Fryer.  I will have to give it a try when the weather hits 100 in the south.
