The best, easy, thin crust pizza crust
500*
Crust will be firm & crispy not soggy:
.25 pkt active dry yeast (abt 2 to 2 & 1/2 tsp)
1/4 tsp granulated sugar
3/4 C 110* water (use instant read thermometer)
1 & 3/4 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
Disslove yeast & sugar in 110* water & let rest in the glass measuring cup for for 8 minutes.
In another bowl mix flour & salt
Pour yeast mix over flour & salt & mis well
Turn dough out & knead for 2 min
That's it!
Press dough into greased/oiled pizza pan, or a circle on greased/oiled baking sheet or use baking stone. I use a large edged cookie sheet and press the dough thin and it fills the pan.
Pile on what you want, but go easy on whatever sauce you use.
Bake 500* - pre heated oven for about 8-12 minutes (small, medium sizes) and bake about 12-15 minutes for large, x-large pan. Bake until edges are golden, longer if you want the cheese to bubble.
Let cool slightly before serving for easier cutting. Especially if you load it up with gooey cheeses!
