That stuff that is called "white chocolate"

Is it really chocolate? When presenting the covered pretzels it was called something else.

Unfortunately, I can't get the large bow shaped pretzels here any longer to dip.

I have gone to using pretzel straws, pecans, and dried cranberries.  I put a piece of parchment in a large tray and pour white vanilla flavored chocolate over everything, then add more on top.  Pretzel bark!  Better flavor and saves me loads of time since I was always dipping for 3 nights!

Re: That stuff that is called "white chocolate"

@Group 5 minus 1 - When confectioners are presenting white chocolate products along with milk or dark chocolate products, it is not unusual for them to refer to the white as "candy coating" rather than chocolate (and that's what happened in the Landies Candies presentation today). As @Kachina624 has shared, some people really choose to focus on the fact that white chocolate is technically "not real chocolate" while others accept the more common terminology and are fine with calling it white chocolate.

From experience, I can assure you that if you found the Landies Candies pretzels at all enticing, you should buy some—I've enjoyed many tasty options.  Smiley Happy
