How long have you had them? Does Temptations have any kind of warranty (beyond the usual Q 30 dayy)?
I know Lock & Lock has a limited lifetime warranty. I have returned a couple lids and had them replaced no charge (other than my little bit to send it back)
Now, Spurtles are supposed to have a 1 year warranty. I sent an Email with copy of my Q invoice, & pics of defects as instructed by the warranty card...got a DUMB auto reply email about dishes????...NEVER rec'd my replacements.
I would call Customer Service to see about getting a replacement...or write Corporate.

Wow, thats awful. I dont own any Temptations, so I've been slow on reading these reports from customers. I've seen posts about dishes crazing. But cracking in the 'wave is totally unacceptable. And @Kachina624's post was an eye opener.

Oh I have even a better example for you. I have a decorative Temp-tations bowl--after it was received I washed it according to instructions and put it in my cabinet. I have a microwave bowl that I pop popcorn in with a tablespoon of Olive Oil, I popped my popcorn and put it in a decorative Temp-tations bowl, after the popcorn was eaten I washed the bowl, by hand according to instructions and did NOT let it soak, and guess what the bowl cracked....Now come on the popcorn wasnt even that hot, neither was the dish water...and the second time it was washed according to instructions and NEVER let it soak! Since it had been over 30 days....couldnt return it! ![]()

I bought a set when they came out with the polka dots - then I started hearing these stories and I got rid of them.

Like i always say there is a reason it is so cheap, you get what you pay for, you dont get something for nothing.....😬

I have several sets of TT from many years ago. Never had any crack, but I won't buy any now as the quality is much lower. Tara says you can have them go from freezer to oven/microwave to table, etc. I think now they are making more and more excuses for the cracking, etc. I enjoy what I have, but will not buy any more and definitely not buy any for gifts.

I have only older TT - nothing newer than 7 years ago when we moved to florida, someone gave me the seashell set as a housewarming gift. I have not had any of the problems you all describe and I put my TT in the top shelf of the dishwasher all the time. Clearly, the older TT products were manufactured better.
