Temp-tations

Where is Tara and Temp-tations? I have watched ITKWD on Sundays and Wednesdays and for at least 3 weeks I have not seen any Temp-tations which is highly unusual. Does anyone know what is going on?

I don't know, but I've been liking it.

Maybe they are just switching seasons or something. I'm sure they will be back. They seem to have a lot of fans.

It's been a welcome break for many of us! There are much better, and more beautiful dishes out there I would rather see. One can only use so many casserole dishes! I don't care for dishes that are so heavy, and tend to crack and chip. There are far too many reviews from people who have had them crack in half for me to risk buying them. For the same price, or less you can find dishes with more class, and are durable. I don't care for how gaudy the Temptations line is. They remind me of what you would find at the dollar store.

I don't sleep well but have seen a couple of shows featuring just Temptations during the late night/early morning hours. On the last show she featured a new set that included an egg poacher dish, a microwave cover, a smaller dish with a matching top and something else I can't remember. There were also some other things like a vase or a utinsel holder. Looked nice, but I am no longer in the market for Temptations unless a new and wonderful design comes along. I don't think she has gone anywhere, but possibly some things that the Blue Jean Chef had needed to be offered without the competition from TT.

I have a lot of TT and don't plan on ordering more after reading about all the cracking, chipping, etc. Mine are old so I haven't had that issue. Kind of tired of seeing TT on every cooking show and they repeat the colors way too many times.

David mentioned the other day when Tara was on that she hasn't been on as much, but will be bringing out many, many new items from TT. I think QVC needs some other brands too. Many of us have enough TT and question the quality now.

It has been posted on her FB page that there are lots of new things coming in the second half of the year. There was a FB chat with Lisa last week and she showed some pictures of some of the upcoming new.

One weird thing is that they have quite a bit of Shamrock coming (can't remember if it is here or on her own website) this summer, and I think some Romance as well.

Something is up with this brand and QVC. Temp-tations hasn't had a TSV for well over a year. Wish we could say the same for Dyson.
