Temp-tations/not lasting

I've had my set of temp-tations dinnerware a little over 2 years and they are just cracking all over the place. I don't put them in the oven. Threw away another bowl today- split right in half.

I still have the original Phalzcraft set from over 23 yrs agao and they are fine. So what's the deal with temptations??
