Just a quick question. Will QVC ever bring back the real Technique Hard Anodized (heavy weighted) cookware?

It has been the best, most affordable cookware ever! I know it's been addressed but I could find any info on it. I have found a few pieces for sale on ebay, but.....

Thanks so much!

@MsSuzyQ That was my all time favourite too.I have finally had to retire some of the pieces that I used the most.Nothing I have purchased from q since is even close to the quality.I wish that I had stocked up.I had an oval shaped open roaster that I used to death. It was a really nice looking piece and many people purchased after they saw mine.

Another Technique fan here.  I have many pieces, and they are my favorite

How funny.  I just was on Ebay this morning searching for Technique items.  I bought that line for family members as gifts. I love it.  Everything else seems inferior.  Count me as another fan of Technique

I am also a fan of the Technique line that Meredith used to demo long ago. I have two large sets that I've had for over ten years and still going strong.  My skillets get the most use and are showing their age.  I also have an 8 qt. Technique Hard Anodized pressure cooker that I've also had for about 12+ years.  The insert is very heavy but I love the oval shape and it still performs well so no need to replace it.  Why can't QVC offer oval shaped pressure cookers anymore?  Most roasts and chickens are oval shaped.

@WORKING GAL, I pressure cook in fear that my oval PC will give up the ghost at any time.  Round cookers are fine for many things but I have an unreasonable aversion to putting whole chickens or roasts of any shape in a round pressure cooker.

Hmmm, maybe I should start looking for one that large enough that a chicken can be placed in it in a supine or prone position lol.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

I have that 8 qt oval pressure cooker too, as well as, the 6 qt round one tbat has the hard anodized insert. Both still work very well & the gaskets are heavy duty & I've never had to replace them. I also have that hard anodized stovetop low pressure cooker.

I have a 6.5 Techniques oval pressure cooker that I bought here 6 years ago and it is still working!  Bring back Techniques.

I love Techniques too, but I hate that I can’t use it on my induction burner, which I now use almost exclusively...

Re: Technique cookware

[ Edited ]

after using Curtis Stone Durapans I can't wait to donate all my Techniques to the trash!!!

Sadly the interiors are no longer non-stick, scratched, outside, bottoms worn from everyday use. No dishwasher or metal utensils...the quality is not there anymore IMO.

I keep waiting for HSN to send me a coupon or free s/h for his total set (I missed out when he was on air☹️) tonight I made a batch of sweet potatoes slid right out of pans...they are great!

(edited not CS pans but Technique that are only a few years old)
