I searched the forums and could not come up with much recent information on this. Is it alright to cut open a tea bag and empty it into the my k cup for brewing in the Keruig personal brewer. The posts I found mainly dealt with a few years ago. I know it would not be steeped like in days of yore but neither is the coffee brewed that way and to me it is very good.

I bought a sampler from Amazon and received some teas I really liked and will be buying k cup teas when I get the opportunity and can find the ones I liked. I have several boxes of herbal and decaf teas I would like to use up, but was wondering if any here have done this . I do not see why it would not work like using your own coffee in a 'my k cup' .

One of my favorites is going to be midmorning Red Rose sweet mint when I can find it. I loved that and it cleared my sinuses ! I have always loved good tea but due to time usually just had another cup of already made coffee for ease and time saving.
