When you buy a food items (like say, Cheryl's cookies), do you get charged "sales tax" on it? I had a Cheryls item and i cancelled it, cause a new batch of cookies came up, so i change it to those. Now the ones i cancelled, did "not" have sales tax on it. (it was going to be an advanced sale to Dec)
But the new order i placed, does have sales tax on it? I called customer service and she said "yes" you do get charged sales tax. But when i buy food at the store, i dont get charged sales tax. Very confused??
Anyone know what its suppose to be? (and does it matter where you live? I live in WI)
Thanks so much for any help!!
