Hi all,
One of my coworkers had a Tastefully Simple party and I ordered several things that I had never tried before. One was the Absolutely Almond pound cake. After I received it, I was shocked to see it called for 3 sticks of butter. Oh well, I love butter so I made it. It smelled great, but OMG it was incredibly rich. And I used salted butter (the recipe didn't specify) but I could taste the salt. I served it with strawberries on top and while it looked inviting, it really was over the top rich. I froze the rest of it and now I'm considering just dumping it.
I feel like I wasted my money - plus I bought the chocolate one and I believe the apple one. I hope I didn't make a mistake on those!
Any opinions please?
Thanks, Michelle
