Love Temptations. I would like to see Old World dishes in solid colors. I do not like to mix patterns. I also would like a batter bowl with handle and spout big enough to use hand mixer.

I feel the same, it's the same old, same old, in other colors. It's frustrating for long time collectors such as you and myself. I do check her website out, but I really like seeing it in a presentation before I order. I was hoping for the new Spring-fetti, a combo of all the new spring colors and that isn't being offered today. With Easter right around the corner, you think these items would be out and ready for order.
I was tempted to purchase the TSV as I would like some spring colored serving pieces to go with my Easter dinnerware. But I refuse to pay the outrageous S/H. With tax it brings it to over $60.00 and there aren't that many pieces in it.
Hi to you too!
I have seen Tara post on FB repeatedly about having no control over what colors, what items or when items air on Q. Really sad, because they obviously aren't paying attention to all the customer wishes, and they should be reading HER FB page more often.
So many are waiting on the Springfetti, and they are going to wait too long into the season, as they tend to do with other patterns, and people will be frustrated. I'm not sure Springfetti is my thing, but I want to see it in "person" too. I've been wrong before (like with yellow)!!
I have posted before, but I waitlisted all the Freedomfett that was listed, and it was all canceled. So disappointed. I wish they'd be more forthcoming (Q, that is) with what they are or aren't going to do.
I like Q for the video presentations as well. When you buy off Marketplace, it is a gamble when something is new in pattern or color, cause you can't get a real feel for it. I love the videos on Q for just that reason. Maybe TT.com will get to that place someday.
S&H are driving me nuts. Makes most purchases less than desirable for me anymore.
I did post on her FB page the other day. It's extremely frustrating, as you said, to think they are going to present something and they don't. Last year, I think it was in October, and they had just gotten in a 4 piece set, a tray with 3 little dishes, in red, white & blue. A little late I imagine?!
Not sure if you knew, but they changed the name from Freedom-fetti to Firework-fetti. This should be offered in April, in plenty of time for Memorial Day. Should be interesting to see when we get a glimpse of that.
Oh well, at least we're saving $$!
Thanks for the confirmation about the now Fireworkfetti. I thought when I saw the new name, I think on FB, they must have changed it, as two patterns with that close of a name were not going to happen. I liked Freedomfetti better, and think it would have been good to produce a lot in that line, and donate part of the proceeds to veteran groups.
Where did you hear the April date? I usually follow FB closely, but don't belong or participate, and hadn't heard that yet. I sure hope it comes to be that soon, as I'm chomping at the bit for some, based on the picture of the colors that were posted during a chat, I think on FB. The blue seemed navy and the red was nice and deep.
I love both FB pages that people post Temp-tations on, as I love to see everyone's pictures and experiences with the various patterns. I get such good ideas for mixing patterns and colors based on what others are doing.
Yep! I'm saving some money today!

I was really hoping for a little more variety in shapes but really these are useful shapes at least. I do see what you mean though - there isn't much "new" available for people who already have established collections. But I don't know. How much stoneware does a person really need? lol. I'm just going to be throwing out all of my glassware and I can't wait.
Welcome to the addiction! Many of us have way more stoneware than a small country needs, but it is our guilty pleasure. Hope you enjoy it as much as many of us do! What pattern/color did you choose?

Also, I know there have been people, myself included that have seen their color just disappear. I'm a grey girl because it is subtle and not too busy looking. I like poppy passion for summer, but I use the grey dishes for everyday. I was told yellow, lilac, and grey are seasonal on fb, but here it is and nothing new for those colors. Cream as well. Even the stuff that was offered in those colors like the loaf pan is gone now.
I hope that new people who buy into the newer colors today realize that their choices may be very limited over time, and they may be in the same boat that the grey/yellow/lilac/cream folks are in right now.
I think Tara and Q believe that lots of people will just mix other colors and patterns over time, when their favorite color disappears, but I understand wanting a complete line of one thing. I want both!!

Or maybe they think when a favorite color disappears the customers will just start over collecting another color. The only TT I mix are lilac with some solid embossed pieces that are purple (not sure if they were listed as lilac, but they are a beautiful color and I wish Tara would do more of the purple).

I chose the floral lace in light blue. I've always really liked that light blue - but I know that's also one of those you don't always see so I plan to supplement with Cranberry. I don't really care much for the old world except for a few of the whimsical pieces I've seen like the little pig soup bowls - those might tempt me ![]()
I really love the spring colors but I didn't want to get stuck in the position a lot of you ladies are in where I can't find may other pieces in that color - if any.
I still live in apartment so I don't have much space to store things so this will probably be my only purchase for awhile - will hopefully get some more when we buy a house soon.

Sorry if you misunderstood, sometimes my head is thinking faster than my hands type so it doesn't come out the right way! What I meant to say is I really wish they would have the Firework-fetti available in April so we could get it in time for Memorial Day. But the way she has been releasing patterns, we probably won't see it until after the 4th of July. The same with the Harvest, it came out in mid-October. That should have been offered in late August so we had it in plenty of time for the beginning of Fall.
She has been talking about Spring-fetti since last year and it wasn't part of the TSV? Seems strange she shows previews on FB in October for this stuff, but it's not available in any of today's shows.
BTW, there is a picture of the new Firework-setti on her FB page. It's a peppermill. If I was computer savvy I would try to post a pic, but I have no clue how to do it, sorry!. If you do a Google search for Tara on FB, I believe you can see her page, you don't have to join FB.

I did it!! (I hope!) It's hard to tell with a peppermill, but I think it looks kind of cool.

Holy cow! Thank you! Thank you! How did I miss this? I tend to check into FB everyday! I see how it does look like fireworks. Now let's get this in some bowls, bakers, pitcher, platter etc!
Sorry I misread the April thing. Makes sense , as I am blonde! I agree, some of this stuff is out way to late. I think sometimes that is on purpose cause they don't have much in stock, and want to have it close to the season.
