Suggestions for holiday cookies to order online

Not able to bake this year. DH doesn't like the Cheryl's cookies. He prefers home made. His favorite cookies are: Chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal. Last few years , I have used the Betty Crocker Cookie mixes. Health issues prevents me from standing up  and take a lot of breaks doing stuff. He has ordered from  Carolina cookie company and stated : just ok. I can't remember if he ordered from David's cookies. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. 🙏❤️❤️❤️

@jackthebear : Probably taste better. I appreciate the suggestion. I was trying not to bake but this is better than a mix.

Small local bakeries would be your best bet. I live in a northern city. We have great Polish, German, Hispanic, Jewish, and Italian bakeries. They use better quality ingredients. Their bakery is fresher than mass produced factory bakery. Also, you're supporting small business in your area.

Some of the grocery stores have decent in-house bakeries. Check the best-buy dates carefully though.

Hi @SouthernBee , I understand what your going through.  I have spinal stenosis and needing to stand in the kitchen long enough to bake has been a huge issue.

I'm not sure what your budget for cookies may be, but these are my favorite cookies to send to people.  We also go there and buy them when we're in the city.  My best friend perfected the copycat recipe, but it was way too much work for me even without a bad back.  ☺️

Their specialty is chocolate chip but they have other interesting flavors.   This is just a screen shot of a Bon Apetit article where they were named the second best cookies to be shipped to someone.  The first place was Last Crumb, but besides being overly expensive, we didn't like them.  Especially my chocolate chip cookie connoisseur husband.

Good luck and I hope you find something you love.

Costco and Sam's Club sells nice home style baked cookies and they're priced well.

I often buy them for my granddaughter to take back to her college apartment and share with her roomies all year around.

Goldbelly has a selection of bakeries that ship cookies, they're expensive but you might find what you're looking for. You could also call & order a cookie tray of your husband's favorites from a local bakery - grocery store & have it delivered or do curbside pickup if possible. I always enjoy your posts @SouthernBee
