just trying to find a substitute for ice cream. Not planning on baking with fake sugar or butter. LOL  Not going that far ! I only eat sweets on weekend, so, I want REAL food then. LOL

I got a choc ice cream recipe that is da bomb ! Tastes like Wendy's Frostys

but, geez Louise, it's got sweetened condensed milk , choc milk and Hershey's syrup in it !!!!!!!!!  cholesterol nightmare ! LOL but, that is fantastic

(of course).

I found online recipe for lemon sorbet using raw sugar gonna check that out

Chef Marion had lemon sorbet this past weekend and I can't get it out of my head LOL Wolf and the rest was raving over it and now I got to get it LOL

@SharkEWhy don't you try my yogurt recipe?  Use 1 pint fat free plain or vanilla yogurt, some strawberries or other fruit (My favorite is mango which I got on sale at Wal-Mart last week) and about 3/4 cup Splenda.  Taste to be sure it's sweet enough.  This concoction is actually healthy.  Put in machine and run until it's ice cream.

@SharkE.  Tastes like ice cream, not yogurt.  The yogurt makes it creamy without fat calories.

@SharkE You can try granulated Xylitol or granulated Swerve (erythritol). I haven't tried making sorbet with them, but I use powdered Swerve every week for keto blueberry muffins. I use the granulated Xylitol in pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream.

Good luck!

@SharkE, I've found a frozen, fat free yogurt that's so good I have bought that instead of ice cream for about 10 years now. Scoops and tastes just like ice cream. 🍦

Kemps is the brand name.

I think the containers are a half gallon. In the ice cream section. They also have a No Added Sugar fat free version.

But the Kemps fat free frozen yogurt is already naturally lower in sugars than ice cream, and is the better of the two.

Just eat the sugar.

It’s an occasional thing, yes?

Still want less sugar?

I did see this recipe w/ little sugar. Haven’t made it,

but the Vegan8 recipes are always tasty.  HTH

I use granulated Splenda - it measure the same as sugar.
