I have a question. I recently saw a receipe for a cake that uses either creme fraiche or heavy cream. Is there another ingredient that is more healthy and not so fatty and caloric that could be used in place that will not affect the outcome of the recipe? I am not very knowledgeable about using either of these ingredients to begin with. I admit that I usually use boxes to make cakes, etc., but this recipe was very intriguing and I wanted to try it as a special treat. If not, I will make it using the ingredients as stated. I guess if you don't eat it every day, it won't kill you, right?
