Whose tried these? I am hesitant because they come out to $10 each and I can run up to an Italian place here and buy one fresh baked for $8-$10.

"I can run up to an Italian place here and buy one fresh baked for $8-$10."
Then you & everyone else who has access to an "Italian place" have no reason to purchase stromboli from tv.
I to have access to all things Italian. There is even an outdoor Italian Market I frequent. I can customize my own stromboli & bake it when I get home or they bake it for me while I continue my shopping.
