Stella D’oro Breakfast Treats

I haven't had these cookies in years and I picked up a package on impulse. They are so good with a cup of tea, lightly sweet and a bit crumbly. Is any one else a fan of these goodies ?

We love them too!  My parents always bought the assorted cookie mix.  I don't see that in the stores anymore.

My mother used to love those Breakfast treats.  Also the anisette toasts, just about anything Stella D'Oro.

I haven't thought of these in ages.  Mom is long gone.  Will look for them in the grocery store on my next trip.

Yes, our main grocery stores don't carry the assorted mix anymore.  Have to buy them at our local Italian grocery/bakery store.

Loved the anisette sponge biscuits but haven't had them in years.

Liked the toast ones and found that Nonna's chocolate biscotti are wonderful: the dark chocolate is on one side only.  BJ's carried a large plastic tub and usually has a $2 or $3 coupon available.  They are my " one a day "vitamin pill, lol !

So funny!  We always had the assorted cookie mix and I loved the round one with white icing.  I saw them a few weeks ago and bought a package.  Every cookie was literally half the size of what they used to be.

The round one with white icing was the size of a quarter!  I should have taken a picture.  My husband and I were cracking up looking at the tiny cookies!

By the way, Amazon and Walmart both have them at their normal prices.  I bought mine at Target.  The assorted at Walmart are $3.99
