Re: Stained White Coffee/Tea Cups

I make a paste from baking soda and water and rub it over the stained area. Works every time...if you need a little stronger add some lemon juice and let it sit for 20-30 mins.

I agree with vinegar and baking soda.

I also think those denture fizzy tablets would work.

Re: Stained White Coffee/Tea Cups

Just cleaned up three Lenox Poppies on Blue cups tonight with a wet paste of dishwashing powder.  Been doing this for years. removes tea, coffee stains and light black lines in the bottom of the cups.

Can't remember what they are called but those white not sponge things that you can clean marks on walls and other things with.  I got mine on the Q, but I think Mr Clean makes them too.  I clean my tea stained mugs with them all the time.  Easy peasy

Just want to second this suggestion.  Clorox Clean Up contains bleach and safely gets rid of all coffee/tea stains from cups.  Like @Shelbelle, I just spray it on the stains, let the cup sit for a couple of minutes, then rinse it out.  I've been using it for years without any apparent damage to the cups. They look like new afterwards!

Re: Stained White Coffee/Tea Cups

I use a good sprinkle of Comet or Ajax on a not too wet sponge and rinse well...works wonderfully.  I also use the same method on everyday silverware, it make it look like new!

@RinaRina I have used the product I will post a link of what I use. I sprinkle some pwder in with water and let it sit. It works really well. You can get this on Amazon as well. Maybe cheaper.
