Squirrel Brand toffee almonds

Every year I buy a set of 3 cans of Squirrel brand silver and gold chocolate toffee almonds. I keep 1 can and gift the other two; everyone loves them.
Today they were on air but the vendor called them mini cans. She said everyone asked for smaller cans, and these mini cans were 11 oz. I went back to check last years order and those cans were 15 oz. so you got less. The kicker is the mini cans are $10. more than I paid for 3 15 oz. cans.
So, you pay $10. more for less amount in each can. What a deal, lol.

And, they presented it like they were doing us a favor giving us the smaller cans we supposedly asked for. What a joke.

I bought these several years.  I want to say last year, I paid $45 for 3/15 oz cans.  Might have been a one time only deal.  Always gifted these.  I won't be getting the 11 oz jars for $54.  Shrinkflation for sure.  No one I gifted them too would think 15 oz was too much.  đź¤Ł.

@Catch71

And the vendor also mentioned each piece is smaller than the ones in the cans.

Only reason I bought them with this shrinkflation is that I used the 25% off coupon if using Q card.

I Was so looking forward to the Silver and Gold toffee Chocolate Almonds but... Squirrel really dropped the ball on this,

A LOT less product for a much higher price.

If they were Gonna Do That.  they should have brought them right out in CIJ BEFORE people had time to spend their money on other things.  Even those tiny containers are tacky.  The black can isn't used for this item.  Clear Plastic with a sticker slapped on it.  That's just not gift worthy.

Oh Well.  Maybe Next Year.

Re: Squirrel Brand toffee almonds

How about that story that customers ASKED for smaller cans?!??!?!?

Q must think thier customers are DOLTS.

OK so if they DID ask for smaller cans, how about the same quanity for the unit price so it feels fair?

That is the most original lie ( lying is the way today) I've heard in  quite a while.

Keep your stupid nuts Squirrel Brand, or don't insult your loyal customers.

And yes I understand shrinkflation. Just dont LIE about it.

Absolutely! I like them but refuse to order. That is quite a price increase and you get less!
I hope no one buys them and they get the message of price gouging.

So, I did confirm, I paid 44.98 for 3/15oz cans last year.  $10 higher and 12 oz less product.  The pretty cans did make them giftable, too.  Yes, you can keep them this year.  I hope others take notice.  Not just less product, but also a $10 increase too.  Crazy.

I don't mind the idea of smaller cans, but only if it was a four pack and not three.

Disappointing.
