Since I already posted a 3 star review I could not update my comments so I'll do it here. I have downgraded it to 1 star---I opened the second container yesterday and it was nothing but bottom of the barrel crumbs---no cashews, a few almonds, even fewer sesame sticks and the rest was seeds. I dumped it into the trash. I was going to include the 3rd container in a gift basket but I would be embarrassed if that was also crumbs. No more Squirrel Brand for me.

I was disappointed too. There was nothing special about these nuts, but I did like the individual bags to throw in gift bags, etc.

sorry you didnt like them......i sent them to my s/o as a treat and the treat bags were gone in less than a day. he loved them! he ate a few of the small bags right away and gave some away at work. he is now working on the larger containers.

And just what was the reason you didn't contact Squirrel DIRECT with your issues? A simple phone call would have gotten you satisfaction right away. Doesn't matter where you ordered from. Also, if you contacted Q, they would have given you a refund, even after the 30 days. (Same goes for places like HSN, Costco, Red Envelope, 1-800 Flowers that ship food products from various companies).

Have been ordering Squirrel items (generally from Sam's, as the pricing is FAR better than on Q) for many years both for personal use and as gifts. Any time an item was questionable in any way, Squirrel immediately shipped out a replacement at no cost.

You REALLY can't knock a food product without attempting to get something done to fix the problem. If you do, it becomes YOUR problem, NOT the problem of the company producing the item.
