Use them almost everyday.  Have given several sets aas gifts and those folks love them as well.

I got the wooden ones when they first came out and then got the silicone ones.  I have them in various sizes, love them all, and use them a lot.  Personally, I prefer the silicone sets.

@mare54   I have a few sets and use them constantly when cooking.  I like them and think they are a good value.

I would have donated them instead of 'throwing them away' like some posters said.

@mare54

I have both wooden and silicone, I love the wooden ones and don't care for the silicone ones-they're too heavy and awkward to use. Silicone absorbs odor from whatever you're cooking and takes too long to get rid of the odor.

The ones I have are in the link, I'm tossing them out.

I bought the skinny silicone set and was gifted the larger sized spurtles.  I use them a lot and I didn't think I would.  I don't think I'd like the wooden ones at all.

@Alsace Gal I have seen these on Amazon. Think I'll order from there..no shipping fees. Thanks for your comments. And everyone else's.

Yes, you will definitely ruin the finish on wooden spurtles in the dishwasher.  They are to be hand washed.  Mine are immediately washed and dried; never soak in dishwater in the sink, as it ruins the wood.
