I have a lot of spices and love to shop those spice shops where they have blended spices.  I also grow them fresh in my garden and freeze and dry some.

I keep mine moving along and use them. I never buy sage, cilantro, anise or fennel...yuck.

I cook and bake a lot,always from scratch and very seldom go out to eat or order in.

We made a spice drawer when we remodeled the kitchen a couple of years ago.

Trouble is if they sit on shelves for years, they lose their potency and are no longer good for cooking.

Spices are pricey 😐  I decided to limit the spices I use and generally do not make a recipe that calls for one I don't think I will use again.

I don't have a ton if spices but I do check them at least yearly and toss what is outdated.

Raising my hand! My name is Sandy, and I am a spice hoarder.🥰 I like challenging recipes and some require many spices; especially exotic ones. I have amassed an extensive collection, and find it difficult to toss ANY that I have not used in some time, because I THINK I will need it soon!!🥰
