Someone posted in Recipe Swap...Spicy Spaghetti Squash. I made it yesty and LOVED it! I can't locate the post (many thanks to the poster!!), but my question is about the spag. squash itself. I had never used it before...or even eaten it!
I cooked it in the microwave as suggested. It shredded just like spag! BUT is it suppose to be soft like pasta? Mine was crunchy! I worried I messed up, so I put it back in the micro and steam some more. It was still crunchy. And steamed again...still crunchy! LOL
I absolutely loved this dish w/ a ground turkey meat sauce on top. Just wondering if I goofed...or if spag. squash is suppose to have a crunch to it! I have eaten acorn and butternut squash before..and they are soft like a sweet potato when cooked correctly.
Did I mess up? TIA!
