It was really good!  I can not tell you how excited I am to have pasta back in my life.  It's literally made from red lentils only and I throw on a homemade tomato sauce.  Found it in the supermarket last night and figured I'd try it.  Two thumbs up from this Italian.

Was the lentil pasta gluten free?  I have yet to find a really, really good tasting gluten free pasta.  It all seems so gummy.

I've never made anything with butternut squash; I'm an acorn squash girl.  Do you cook the squash before trying to peel and cut it up?

Had a nice bowl of Autumn Squash Soup for a late lunch. Dropped a glom of butter in it and crumbled some Club Crackers on top. Panera brand. Several of Panera's soups can be found at grocery stores around here. They are so good.

It was acorn squash that I'd previously made squash soup with.  Wow, that was a lot of work.  What's the trick?  Roast it first?  I followed a local public TV chef's program recipe who made cutting it raw look easy.  Not.  Delicious, though.

Making lentil soup. It’s not soup weather here in Houston - feels like 91! But one can dream it’s cool outside. Love my lentil soup!
