This time of year, I make huge pots of soup. My problem, over cooked mushy noodles. Currently I make my noodles in a separate pot -cook a few minutes LESS than directions, drain the noodles, rinse in ice cold water, then add to the soup close to serving time. By day 2 the noodles are swollen and mushy !! Help PLEASE.
