Re: Small kitchen appliance suggestions needed.

@Carmie @Misplaced Parisian : Thanks for the help. Brain overload for me trying to look and read reviews. Yes- I want to purchase a good product and the appropriate size the family needs. I purchased the Vita Mix and regretted it thinking had to be something just as good. Southern Bee

@SouthernBee

Amazon has the Ninja Blender/Food Processor with several size bowls for $49. I have a similar one that I use for smoothies. Of course it's not as powerful as a Vitamix but it is great for the money.

@Misplaced Parisian : I still have my Vita Mix. Thinking about cleaning and packing it to mail to them, but don't drive and with this virus can't ask friends to get out and provide transportation. Southern Bee

@SouthernBee  You have a very giving and tender heart.  I wish I lived by you.  I'd take it to the post office for you.  That vita mix is an awesome gift.  Take care, sweetie.

@SharkE : Thanks for your help but some of your suggested items were not requested. The Oster food processor is sold out on line. Trying to purchase with free shipping direct to them. So far best offers are with Bed Bath and Beyond because I get 20% off of each item and free shipping when ordering on line. Southern Bee

@SouthernBee, that's so nice of you and your husband to help out family members. I no longer have my blender, but I know I bought it at Kohl's some years ago for a very reasonable price. Sorry that I don't remember the brand, but it was a "known" brand and worked just fine for my needs at the time.

I usually buy small appliances at Walmart, Kohl's, Target or similar stores and choose a brand name I'm familiar with and middle of the line in price. That's always worked for me. All of these stores have online shopping....and of course there is always Amazon as well.

@jannabelle1 : Thank you. Great suggestions. I am trying to purchase mid price but looking for good sales, discounts and free shipping. So far best has been bed bath and beyond. Southern Bee
