I just tried to order Wise Emergency Meals on HSN; they are all sold out.  QVC, please consider bringing this brand in to the Q.  I am afraid to go shopping in supermarkets now, and I need to stock up.  The reviews are very good for this company.  I need EZ pay to afford to buy these meals.  I am retired and on a fixed income.  Think about it.

Re: Wise Emergency Meals!

[ Edited ]

Amazon has a wide assortment of emergency foods/meals. HSN has been sold out of Wise for weeks because of storms, and now Covid-19. I hope you are able to find some to your liking.😊

Because the need for emergency preparedness has hit an all-time high, It's conceivable they will consider selling emergency meals and supplies moving forward.

Thank you, Sandy Sparkles for the information.  I looked at the Wise homepage and most is sold out except for the huge assortments that cost almost $2000.  I checked other emergency meal companies, but many are huge quantities and very expensive.  I hope QVC offers these types of meals during this time.

Isn't there someone you can ask in your neighborhood, church, volunteer group who can shop for you.

We are a group of ladies (5) and we put the call out to those who are housebound and need food & essentials, including pharmacy.

Each person compiled a list for us, including substitutions  & amount they could afford to spend.

Right now once a week we go to "sr hours" with a copy of everyone's list.  we go to different stores because better chance of finding certain things.  Before we purchase we text/call each other to check if anything is not found at that store  & we checked at our store.

We meet up and put receipts in envelopes for each order and  theirchange unless they give us cc.  We don't charge anything for doing it, bring groceries up to front and we enjoy helping our neighbors!

I find food on shopping shows is quite overpriced especially premade heat n eat.  Plus sometimes shipping isn't quick.

Maybe you can ask friends if they know anyone doing what we are.  Tomorrow we are shopping for 3 home bound people since they health issues.

Good luck and stay home & healthy🌹

There are many grocery stores now offering delivery and pick up of grocery orders.  Among them  are Walmart and most Kroger-owned stores.  The shopping service Instacart will also shop for you and deliver orders you order online.  Call you local county agency for senior services for help in getting groceries.  You don't have to resort to reconstituted meals.

@stellabystarlight  Bless your heart. I know this is an especially tough time for you, and so many others in your situation. I will say a prayer for you, and sincerely hope you are able to get the things you need soon! ❤🤗

@homedecor1  I concur! Those are excellent suggestions. I have seen so many examples of individuals, communities and organizations coming together and assisting in any way they can. The best of humanity is a beautiful thing to behold. It warms my heart to the point of tears sometimes.😊

Yes, we do have shopping services in my area like InstaCart and PeaPod, which is the Stop N Shop service, but they are so overloaded that they are not taking any more appointments.  I have used Amazon, but now it is many weeks before your order arrives.  I have enough for a few weeks and my sister has shopped for me, but I just feel so nervous about this virus that I am beginning to panic.  Thank you all for your suggestions. Hugs to all.

Invest in a good protein powder and a greens powder for now.

Not sure what configuration you're looking for. Good brand.

@stellabystarlight   When they do get it back in stock I think you will like them.  I ordered one of their meal kit bundles about 5 years ago because I live in a hurricane potential area.   Well, my husband told me that was one of the dumbest purchases I had ever made.

Fast forward to 2 years later and we had a hurricane come through and the entire area lost power for 5 days.  I went and got that bucket of meals out from the closet and we ate good for that 5 days. I cooked them on a camping burner.   Breakfast, lunch and dinner.   Husband told me that was one of the best purchases I had ever made.   LOL.

We found them to be very good and flavorful.  I have since ordered another one and have it in the closet for future use.
