Mustrangstar.....thanks for your reply....The All Clad cooker was so heavy too but I also hear they now have a newer model that sears without putting it on the stovetop..Cost $300.00(sale price) I think it is 6 1/2 or 7Qt)....The 4-1 Ninja...I wonder how easy it is to clean as I do prefer ceramic insert also....

Highly recommend the Instant Pot DUO60 which sautes the meat, and browns it according to your preferences, and it is a 7 function multi unit with options for making yogurt, stews, rice, slow cooks, steams, pressure cooks, and many more.

It comes with recipes, and web site recipes too, and a great user manual and instruction guide.

Amazon carrys this, as well as other on line and other stores off line too.

The price is a little over $100.00 and well worth it.

Yes, like the Fa gor pot and other similar ones that do it all! I love these! Mine has presets for white rice, brown rice, risotto and yogurt as well as brown, sauté, simmer, steam, pressure cook, slow cook, keep warm and time delay.

I think that is the future of this range of appliances. Also, I was really excited to get the stainless steel pot (an extra $29) for mine. Now you can also get this pot in white trim that is prettier! That's always my luck!
