Anyone have these knives? 3 piece set w sleeves for $20 seems like a great price point. Do they really stay sharp?

Re: Simply Ming Aeroknife set

I'm thinking of picking them up. It's a good deal and they look very efficient.

Re: Simply Ming Aeroknife set

I have one- not the set- at my local store, they have an "As seen on TV" section- when they marked it down to $4.99 I bought it-

VERY flimsy- is it worth $4.99? yeah, I guess, but I love my ceramic knives and they stay SO sharp so much more!

I bought them a few months ago. I think they're good, but I don't think anything special. I haven't had them long enough to know if they stay sharp.

I was thinking of ordering, but my favorite colors sold out.

I tried the set that was sold before and sent them back. Didn't have enough weight for me. And the stuff I chopped stuck to them even with the huge holes in them. Another gimmick!!

Rather than pay to return them I sharpened them to my spec., but obviously the steel is not the best as they do not hold an edge.

I ordered them and then cancelled thinking, "you get what you pay for." Anyway, I have a rule which I broke, don't order things in the evening because those orders are usually bad choices for some reason!

I agree with wagirl, they do seem like they would be too light.

Re: Simply Ming Aeroknife set

I tried to order, but for some reason they wouldn't ship to a p.o. box so I cancelled. I don't like packages to sit in front of my house until I get home which is why I've had a p.o. box for many years. I don't understand the restriction for the knives, because my Wolfgang Puck knives shipped to my p.o. box as well as my ceramic knives from QVC. Oh well, I guess they lost a sale...
