Silver dragees are so pretty on top of Christmas cookies or cakes, but since they have silver in them some say they shouldn't be eaten. I've seen mini dragees on the Internet and was thinking of just sprinkling a few on each cookie, but I hesitate to buy them because of the silver. I wonder if it would be okay to eat as long as you don't eat too many. Does anyone know of a substitute that would be just as pretty? I've tried silver dust and pearls and they don't look as nice. Thanks!
