You have raised a wonderful son, @house_cat! That storage closet is a dream. It really is helpful to cook in an organized kitchen with all your essentials handy, yet also knowing where you have all your extras.

Our kitchen is small. When we moved in there was a desk with open shelves above it on one wall.  Useless to me so DH had a closet/pantry installed & it is a lifesaver.

Have a good time with your granddaughter & then onto your kitchen project!
