Shucking corn method - clean ears every time

Someone sent a link to this video of a man who shucks corn using a microwave.

-- husk as well as including all silk threadies --

Four minutes for each ear.

He did two ears at the same time. So he ran the microwave for 8 minutes.

Anybody else here ever done it that way?
