Shirataki noodles

Just tried them for the first time and I have to say BLEK!!! {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I don't see how these, even smothered with sauce, could remotely pass for noodles. I used a little chicken broth, laughing cow cheese wedge and light sour cream to make a cheese sauce and It was awful. When you bite into the noodle it is a VERY different texture and bite...nothing like pasta and certainly nothing a sauce can hide...it was almost making me gag. Anyone else not a fan? I really wanted to like them!!!!!!
