I would love to be able to buy SEPARATE PIECES - not everything in a set. Example - I just want a sugar bowl and creamer....don't need the patter or the big bowl. I already have a platter and bowls from other sets. I want just a butter dish -no need for salt and pepper shakers since I have grinders that I like. And, I don't always need the metal basket that the dish comes in . . . They are pretty and functional but I don't bother with them most of the time unless I am having a party. They really dress things up quite nicely - but for my every day use (and I do use them everyday!) it's too much trouble and they take up too much cabinet space. When you already have a big collection, it's nice to be able to pick and choose what you want to add to it in smaller doses.

If you go to TT website - not on QVC - they do sell individual pieces.

If QVC sold separate pieces (like one 2-QT. baking dish), the shipping would probably be almost as much as the cost of the bowl. I don't think I need anymore sets, but the single items would probably cost way more.

you can also call temptations and tell them what piece you want and they will sell you seperate pieces to match your originals..good luck

lots of separate pieces on ebay but you will usually pay more for it!
