I burned my non-stick sauce pan ......tried EVERYTHING. Had to throw it away.

I wanted to replace it for everyday cooking and looked on QVC for replacement......

30.00 plus shipping and handling. Bought the almost exact same thing (no cover but I didn't want) for 7.89 no shipping . My expensive cookware is Copper and stainless.....

it was almost $1000 per pan(my husband was a chef) many years ago. Too heavy and more pan than I need most of the time . I use it for company and as a homage to my husband but I look at $10,000 plus ( what we paid 50 years ago )collecting dust and think maybe it is time for it to go ! Then I forget !!!

I've never done that. If it's something I like I buy it. The same with the other on line Stores I shop.

It depends on what it is I am buying.  But that also holds true for other online retailers.  Just have to be sure one is comparing apples to apples, so to speak.

Always...recent example: same excerise bike on Q, $219.00 FS, the manufacturer's store on Amazon $149.00 FS. I also pay attention to extra cash back offers from my CC & use cash back sites too.

I purchase based on the on-air presentation or something I have bought previously. I buy what I see or know I will enjoy from QVC. No comparison shopping needed.

Yes, I do check prices.  I make sure that I'm comparing exactly the same item, but I see no reason to pay over the odds for something, just to buy from a particular retailer.  To me, that's throwing money away.  If that doesn't matter to someone, or that person has no need to be careful financially, that's fine.

I prefer to save my money for other things I might want or need.
