Darn, you guys.  Now I am going to have to go out tomorrow and try to find these SeaPak fried clams.  I grew up on the east coast (in NJ) and loved eating them at Howard Johnson's.  Don't know if the Walmart here in the CA desert will have them, but I sure am going to try!  Got to feed the craving.......

I haven't had fried clams in years!  I need to see if they carry them here.

 

We like the SeaPak coconut shrimp - I make an easy sauce of dijon mustard+apricot preserves.

@retiredatlast  Your mention of Howard Johnson made me smile.

 

During my jr. and sr. years in high school 4 friends and I were on a bowling team (weren't we wild and crazy). We bowled at the Y after school on Wednesdays. Then........we went to Howard Johnson's for their all you could eat fish fry. I think it was $1.99.  This was in 1967/68.
