I read that Scrub Daddy has to be replaced every several months. I was wondering how they "wear out". Does the Scrub Daddy unravel? Does it shrink? What about it makes you know it should be replaced?

It seems as if I've been using the same two for a year or so, and they look like new I guess they have a long lifespan. Will just have to see how long they really last.

Mine eventually just looked worn, and had kind of lost it's shape. I used it about three months, and I did order the TSV. I was in Walmart on Friday, and did not see any scrub daddy there.

After awhile they break down and lose their shape. Plus, they don't stay rock hard in cold water anymore. Even so, they're a pretty clever invention and an overall good value. They do what they're advertised to do (well, I haven't tried scrubbing the potato skin off), and they don't get that musty, dirty sponge/dirty dishcloth smell.

They actually will peel a potatoe.I ruined one using it to wash my window screens.Normal cleaning still have not worn one out.

You can tell my looking at it.

I got one to try but I only used it on things that I couldn't clean with any other cleanser or sponge-like item (things I thought were permanent). It worked on those things and I was sold.

I just bought a pack of 3 from Amazon. I have other sponges (like the Don Aslett microfiber sponges) that I use for everything else. These are for special use only Smiley Very Happy

Thanks, I appreciate your input. I bought the TSV and wondered why they offered auto-delivery. I did not read about them wearing out until after I ordered the TSV. And began to wonder if they fell apart.

With normal use 60 days, has been my experience.
