After reading a few recent reviews that mention defects, malfunctions, poor packaging, and suspiciously used and dirty merchandise received, I decided to do something much smarter.
I went onto eBay, and searched for used Sunbeam Mixmasters like my grandmother used to have.
I found one that might be EXACTLY the model that she had, from the 1940's! The seller even posted a link to a Youtube video, showing the mixer still works, after 70 plus years!
For 100.00 less than a new, potentially crappy Kitchen Aid, I think I made the right choice!
Here is the actual mixer in action:

I remember those Sunbeam stand mixers and have been tempted to buy one as well off the bay. The only worry for me is the electric cord, is it in good condition?
FWIW, KA makes a version of their products only for the Q.
If you search the model # for the TSV oven there's a YT video with Laura Wethers presenting. Not exactly a new model.

I can't imagine anyone would receive a "used" "dirty" mixer from Q. I did have a problem with a "used" piece of Temptations but they took care of it immediately.
Good Luck with your purchase. before I bought my own KA Pro 600 which was 20 years ago from Q still worked, sold it & downsized to tilt head style recently-- I had my grandmothers KA over 70 years old! Still worked perfectly I gave to my cousins daughter who still is using it.
My other cousin has her mothers Sunbeam Mixmaster over 40years old and still working! In fact, she also has her mothers 1946 Singer sewing machine --we just made draperies using it!

Yes, the cord is still in great shape too! I saw a few for sale that had horribly dried out cords, but not this one.
I probably won't get it until the end of October because the seller is on vacation.
And I did not realize that about Kitchen Aid making things specifically for QVC. Very interesting...

I still have my grandmother's Singer TREADLE machine, although I have not used it in years.
Many of the clothes that I wore growing up were made for me by her on that very machime!

A good source for Kitchen Aide is Kitchen Collection. They sell refurbished for much less. Sometimes these were used in cooking shows (they probably use new out of box for each show) then gone over by factory and sold as refurbished.

I had a Sunbeam for years. I never realized how much extra work I did until I bought a Kitchen Aide. We had many older ones (as well as new ones) in our Foods/Adv Foods labs as well.

Oh, that would concern me greatly. That means the seller might not send the product until after the time period to file a complaint with PayPal if he decides not to send the product has expired.

My mom had her Sunbeam for many years just like the video. It was the only one she ever owned.
Sweet memories!
