and decided to check it out. Very interesting and seriously considering checking it out. They only deliver to a few states now but will expand.
Its fresh fruit and veggies that are imperfect.

I saw something similar to this a few years ago, but on a larger scale. It was geared to food banks and soup kitchens. In some cases, it was food that restaurants had rejected for the same reasons these items are referred to as misfits. Organizations could sign up to be notified when the vendors had food available and arrange to meet in a mutually convenient place. I think the food was free - the vendors hated to see perfectly edible food going to waste when so many would appreciate it. I gave the information to my friend for her church's food bank.
