Savannah Classics brand frozen foods?

Just curious if anyone has ever tried the Savannah Classics brand of frozen food items. Different grocery stores in my area have them. I've seen Cornbread Dressing, Green Bean Casserole, and Sweet Potato Casserole. Think I've also seen some Giblet Gravy. If you've ever had them did you like them? TIA.

I wonder about these too.  I thought about trying the cornbread dressing this year, but having not ever eaten it, I chose to go with the St. Clair sides instead.

Re: Savannah Classics brand frozen foods?

@PansyBoo : I tried the sweet potato casserole last year and not impressed. The pecans in the topping was very small and the sweet potatoes just didn't taste good and just my opinion. I have already purchased the Honey Baked Ham company sweet potato casserole and in my freezer for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I really prefer my sweet potato casserole but not able to do everything. I have never tried to make the casserole and freeze it.

I am very picky about my cornbread dressing and I have made my dressing and enough in the freezer for both holidays. Several years ago there was another brand of frozen cornbread dressing but can't remember the name but it was good.

Never heard of this brand. Sounds like maybe it's sold in the south.

I've seen it in Food Lion probably every year for the holidays. I tried the cornbread dressing last year and loved it.

Re: Savannah Classics brand frozen foods?

@Icegoddess@SouthernBee@SaveTheTurtles@Caffeina  thanks very much for your replies!

Over the years I've also ordered my fair share of St. Clair and always enjoyed them. I even went on a hunt years and years ago to find the perfect size casserole dish to plop the frozen St Clair's in to bake in the oven. But over the last couple years I've just not ordered any.

I keep seeing these Savannah Classics and have been curious. To be honest, my cornbread dressing can be hit or miss. I don't know why. And I've never thought it was as good as my mother's or grandmother's. It would sure be nice to find a really great frozen version. Caffeina, glad to have an endorsement. I did enjoy St. Clair's dressing but at this point just don't want to have to order a pack of four items...and would prefer just to pick something up at the store.

I will make my dressing again this time for Thanksgiving...maybe I'll get lucky and hit a home run. Ha! And then I am going to get some of these frozen items from this brand and serve for just a regular ole weeknight meal to see if I like them.

Thanks again!

@PansyBoo I don't serve all 4 sides at Thanksgiving, just the dressing and one other which my daughter chooses. The other 2 I keep in the freezer for either Christmas or an easy side to pull out anytime.

If any one lives in the South : The Pig Screenshot_20231113-101509_kindlephoto-167520611.pngScreenshot_20231113-101109_kindlephoto-166208206.png  Wiggly groceries has the Auntie Pearl's  dressing and it is good.

The Smithfield market place has the dressing, and sweet potato casserole . On line order is down but can call to place orders.

I have tried 3 times to edit this and post photos of products.
